SHAPING THE WIND

Soundscape by Rico Casazza.

Participatory Public Art Installation

MPavilion Parkville, University Square The University of Melbourne Carlton, VIC

These wind-powered inflatable sculptures created a dynamic and immersive experience. The constant movement of air, flowing through colorful or translucent sculptures, while they sway, ripple, slightly inflate and deflate, creating the illusion of breathing or pulsing life.

The MPavilion was an ideal location to merge nature, art, and relaxation, and focusing on the themes of sky and wind through trees really enhanced the experience of the natural surroundings.

A soundscape created by Rico Casazza like rustling leaves, soft wind chimes and swirling sounds to heighten the atmosphere, further blending nature and art.
