Meshwork, Group Show with Angela Rossitto, Jamie Mumford and Stephanie Hicks

The artworks in Meshwork stem from a context of interconnectedness whereby all living and non-living things are interconnected in a vast network or mesh. The artists interrogate this term through exploring found materials, handcraft techniques and abstract forms. Sculptural and installation works arise from close engagement with materials, regarded by the artists as ‘more-than-human’ collaborators, and draw on memory and imagination to reflect patterns and processes from nature. Visitors are invited to consider how we shape environments and how they shape us.

The artwork talks about the breath we share with other living beings in a solidified breath made of hundreds of air particles.
